Chapter Recruitment

Each January, the Gamma Phi Chapter excitedly returns to campus for Recruitment Week.  To be initiated into our chapter, each potential new member must have a minimum 2.7 GPA and be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours (the minimum amount for consideration as a full-time student).  While our pledge classes vary in size each year, they typically consist of about 55 - 60 young women.  Our new members join us from all across the continent – from California to New York, and almost everywhere in between!  At the end of Recruitment Week, the SMU Kappas enjoy celebrating with our new sisters as they run home to the sound of "Sweet Home Kappa Gamma."  Visit this page to access more information about Panhellenic Recruitment at SMU.
